  • Privacy Policy for Mycelium BOT Extension

Mycelium BOT Extension is the browser integration component of Mycelium Back Office Tool. It enables authorized users to record and run browser-based operational workflows.

  • Data processed

During an active recording or playback session, the extension may process page URLs and titles, browser actions, page element attributes and selectors, visible text, values entered into or read from interacted page elements, screenshots of the visible browser tab, workflow instructions, execution results, and diagnostic information.

Because an authorized workflow may include a login process, authentication information can be processed. Password fields are identified as secure and masked in the application interface, but their values may be processed when required to record or replay an authorized workflow.

  • How data is used

Data is used only to record workflows, locate browser elements, replay approved actions, verify execution results, capture workflow evidence, diagnose failures, and provide the functionality requested by the user or their organization.

  • Data sharing and transfer

The extension sends data through Chrome Native Messaging to the locally installed Mycelium BOT desktop application. The desktop application may store the data locally or transmit it to the Mycelium service configured by the user’s organization for workflow storage, orchestration, execution, reporting, and support.

Data may be accessible to authorized users and administrators of the organization operating Mycelium BOT and to service providers required to operate the configured Mycelium service. User data is not sold and is not used for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

  • Storage and retention

The extension does not use browser storage as a general-purpose repository for recorded workflow data. Workflow data and screenshots may be retained by the desktop application or the configured Mycelium service according to the organization’s retention and deletion policies.

  • Security

Native Messaging communication occurs locally between the extension and the installed Mycelium BOT application. Production connections between the desktop application and the configured Mycelium service must use secure HTTPS or WSS transport. Access to stored workflow data is restricted to authorized users.

  • User control

Recording and playback are initiated through Mycelium BOT. Users should only run the extension on websites and applications they are authorized to access. Requests concerning access, correction, or deletion of stored workflow data should be directed to the organization operating the Mycelium service.

  • Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
